Band Geek Studio 2.0 Tour

Показать описание
I just moved into a new home and my studio moved with me! A few of you have been curious about what we've been doing in here over the past few months, so here is the OFFICIAL Band Geek Studio 2.0 Tour!
Huge thanks to @Andy Ascolese for being the driving force behind this new studio. He did the bulk of the work. He's incredible and I would greatly appreciate you guys giving his YouTube channel a follow.
This video was shot by Brandi Metaxas and Andy Ascolese with Phil Castellano's fancy schmancy Black Magic Camera.
Thanks to my family and friends for pitching in in a major way, including:
Brandi Metaxas
Mark Rucci
Steve La Cerra
Steve Sterlacci
Andy Graziano
Steve Devino
And last but not least, my uncle Phil Castellano!
I also have to thank these amazing companies for their tremendous support:
@Bose Professional was kind enough to supply me with their new L1 Pro Portable PA system for my stream room and various project. It kicks ass and has made performing on my live streams more enjoyable.
Ever since I had my first 4 track cassette setup, I've had @Audio-Technica USA microphones. Every time I've upgraded, they've been right there with me, offering mics and headphones for every level and price point. In college, my favorite mic was the AT-4033. Today, it's the AT-4047MP.
@RolandChannel gear is something I've been using for over 30 years at this point. I used to steal my dad's D-110 and D-550 to record my first demos on an Octave Plateau sequencer! These days I'm using a ton of Roland stuff on a daily basis including the FA-06, A-49, TD-11k V-Drums, and the Handsonic.
When it came time to create all of the Blue Oyster Cult Live Blu-Rays, I needed a computer that could handle multiple high def or 4K video streams and multiple audio streams with fast render times. The folks at Dell were great about putting together a totally custom PC that exceeded all of my needs and expectations. I'm using a Precision 5820 with an Intel Xeon W-2145 CPU @ 3.70GHz and 32 GB RAM.
With the sheer amount of video rendering that goes on in this studio it's important to have a powerful GPU that is up to the task. For this, I was fortunate enough to get my hands on an @NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 which is just incredible! I'm also planning on putting this GPU through it's paces on a super secret project I'm currently working on.
