I loved it when Marcus was running the ball for the chiefs. He fit so well into the run game

It’s a damn shame how the Raiders treated Marcus Allen. Seeing him in that chiefs jersey just hurts...

I ride by RFK stadium everyday and I think of all the great games played there including a Los Angeles Raiders 21-20 victory over Washington in 1992 which happened to be Marcus Allen's last game as a Raider.

my baby bro had KC season tix in '93, one night in my apt. @ the Lake Of The Ozarks - high above it on a ridge - i called the weekly players radio show and asked Marcus if Chiefs were looking at Qb-option play for him to pass on ...YES

Marcus was awesome early for the Raiders then I feel like they kept trying to find guys to replace him and the whole Al Davis thing also derailed him a few years . Would have been cool if he could have ran for 1000 yards a few more times but he had a very long career and one of the best goal line backs ever.

I feel like the video is very misleading in its presentation. Marcus Allen's huge game against the Raiders was NOT the first game he played against them. It was the 4th. It didn't happen until Week 17 of 1994. Allen signed with KC in 1993.
Peter King is correct on one count, they definitely fed Allen the ball quite a bit that first game in 1993. And he went for 24 yards on 17 carries. I'm sure Al Davis was laughing his ass off.
Allen went on to have some really good games against the Raiders in the next few years, but that first one was about as bad of a performance as a RB could have in a game. The video should have simply been honest in the presentation.

The LA Raiders did Marcus Allen wrong

He got back at his old team with a bit of pay back

Love my Raiders and Marcus was my inspiration to stay out of trouble and pursue a dream. Can never forgive Al's pettiness, short-sightedness and terrible treatment of Marcus.

Marcus Allen I believe was hurt when our Raiders sign the great Bo Jackson. When Bo Jackson came Marcus playing time was cut and that probably became a issue for Marcus. I believe Marcus was Jealous of Bo Jackson because Bo was so good and explosive and Bo became the center piece of the Raiders offense. So Marcus jump ship and retired a chief and went into hall of frame as a Kansas City chief. All Marcus greatest moments are with the Raiders.

I never considered Marcus Allen a Raider especially when he talk a lot of bull about the Raiders. If your hurt because Al Davis cut some playing time and gave you more years in your career because of it, you should not be mad and not act like a little baby. So glad he didn’t retire a Raider and glad he didn’t go into the hall of frame as a Raider. He didn’t deserve the Silver and Black.

In another interview, Allen said he never hated the Raiders even after he became a chief. In this video, he said by others that Allen hated the Raiders. Hmmmm. 🤔🤷‍♂️

It's a disgrace with Al Davis, did to Marcus Allen. The man was a team player, an extremely great running back and from what I hear a really good guy. But Davis did not like him for some reason, and I loved watching those games when Marcus was sticking it too Al Davis and beating the raiders.

This kind of pettiness characterized the nfl throughout the 1990s. It took Brady and Patriots to restore a sense of greatness and competition to the league.

Marcus Allen was one big cry baby. When Bo Jackson came to the Raiders he could not deal with it period. He could not deal with half his playing time got cut in half when Big Bo Jackson show up. Marcus was never a die heart Raider player. In life you have ups and downs and he could not deal with Bo. Bo was great player and you got to deal with completion and MARCUS could not. So he jump ship. NOT A TRUE RAIDER.
