The best thing to do is use oil when picking the hair from the root. Vitamin e oil or olive oil and wash your hair with berry to increase natural luster.

Word of advice, moisturize your hair before detangling. And start at the ends before the roots/scalp

Spray bottle with water and aloe vera juice mixed in and a few drops of rosemary oil.

Then oil.... olive oil, glycerin (not too much), rosemary oil, and whatever scented oil you like. Shake well.

Every few days: spray then oil

Keeping my hair in twist that I do myself saved my hair so much. I blow dry each piece of hair before I twist and I don’t put any oil or conditioner until I’m fully done

Picking always works best when my hair is soaking wet and with conditioner in it. What sucks is that i always feel the need to re-pick after i wash it all out and apply some product because running that through my hair kinda messes up all my hard work.
