Meet Ray, he was generous enough to invite us over and view his entire collection that he has acquired throughout his life with his father. There are many grail pieces totally up to an estimate of over $50K in die-casts. If you enjoy this content, please like, comment, share, and subscribe!

Yo! I report to Camp Bullis every month, that's cool. Maybe I'll see you around one day lol
But Bro. Thanks for sharing & choosing a good guy of a collector to interview. I really like the points he covered towards the end such as keeping your word, sharing the wealth, & sowing good karma.
These are the things I'm about, not for money. I've gifted a lot (especially in market value) just in these 17 months I've been collecting so far & you know what! I've seen how that good karma comes back. I'll actually be posting a video by tomorrow night showing exactly what I'm talking about. Please feel free to check it out & share. But yeah, when we maintain kindness, generosity & honesty in this hobby; it only makes it truly more enjoyable, fun & worth it 💯
Stay Blessed bro

I love to tell others(collectors or even scalpers) that "hunting" DOESN'T have to be a freaking competition, nor stressful! Too many people believe THEY must WIN to enjoy the hobby! Just yesterday, I walked into one of our five Walmart stores, here in Tallahassee, Florida, at 6 am and this guy was walking ahead of me, and I eventually realized he was heading to the toy sections, and he noticed me following him and realized, I, too was headed towards the toy section. He literally started to walk fast, like older people do in the malls in the morning. I have never seen him before, so i knew he was a transient. Anyway, he rushes to the toy section, unfortunate for him, he stopped at the dump bin, the same dump bin that has been there for at least two months, while I walked on to the aisle. I ended up finding a Super Treasure Hunt, a Auto World Ultra Red Challenger and other hard to find M2 Machines and Auto World castings. Then, he finally finds me on the aisle walks so close to me that he was literally invading my space and stated, "You getting old the good stuff, huh?" Which I hate, because it is him basically saying, "You got to it before me and i am mad."

Because of people like that, I was a loner for a long time, because I travel a ton due to my career, I hate to fly, so I drive everywhere, and I stopped traveling on the interstate, instead I'd take the rural and side roads, which allows me to hit a ton of stores and find a lot of hot items, i collect.

Now, there are people who are genuine collectors, who are easy to spot, once you speak to them and that's where the "networking" begins. They find out what you collect, you find out what they collect and boom, the trading and friendships begin. I have literally spent $200 buying die-casts, I know guys collect, as I text them saying, "Hey, I found this particular die-cast or set you were looking for, do you want me to pick it up for you and you give me what I paid for it, including taxes?" Most of the time, almost 99% of the time, they text back, "YES!"

Now, of course I don't do that for STH, Ultra Raws/Reds o White Lightning, pretty much any chase, but I have at least 30 collector's numbers in my phone and i list as, for example, "David(MOPAR)" who collects everything MOPAR.

NETWORKING HELPS YOU OUT IN THE LONG RUN!

Again, hunting for Hot Wheels, M2 Machines, Johnny Lightning, Auto World and more doesn't have to be a competition or some type of match to the death!

I've been collecting, off and on, since the late 70's, when my goal as a punk kid was to crack open the die-cast and play with it in my Hot Wheels City foldout briefcase and/or play with them wherever they roll freely. I got back into the hobby(full-time) in late 2020, over the years I would buy Hot wheels, here and there, mostly to put on my desk at home or work. I even used certain Hot Wheels as card holders, when I used to play Texas Hold'em from 199 until 2013. My biggest regret is the few times I stepped away from the hobby, were the years the "best" castings were released.
