The traps and serratus don't connect to the humerus, they cant move the humerus overhead or at all. The delts are still contributing to movements overhead, the traps and serratus move the shoulder blade. This is just incorrect anatomy, jeff was right

Lol you keep going after Mike Israetel as if you are anywhere near as qualified as him. PhD in sport physiology, Professor of exercise science, nutrition consultant to the U.S. Olympic Training Site. You only have your bachelor’s and a clickbait YouTube channel. Get a life.

The Super ROM lateral raise is a workout that is used for two things In particular and is great to add to your workouts. Its used to help aid the shoulders with load and positioning for clean and jerk, clean and press, and any overhead olympic or pressing style movement. The second thing it helps with is joint mobility and flexibility, often being used for people who have had shoulder or rotator cuff injuries that are in strength and recovery phases. My advice for using this movement for hypertrophy is to be at an angle but even then going just a small portion above 90° is perfect and then milking that eccentric all the way to the bottom on really any lateral raise
