New World - Rapier & Fire Staff Build - Blood and Fire God

The Rapier is a great duelist weapon that has two mobility skills, and up to 3.5 seconds of invulnerability. Up to a 40% damage buff on light/heavy attacks and pairs greatly with the Fire Staff due to it's Dexterity/Intelligence scaling. In this guide I will show you a viable PvE/PvP build that has many layers of offensive and defensive passives and active buffs. Not only is your evade on a 1 second cool down after 1 light attack hits. Your fleche will be on a 3.6 second cooldown after a kill. Two spammable abilities that boost your weapon attacks by 40% each time. The rapier is the single best 1vs1 dueling weapon in the game.

Hi Guys. I've amended the skill build on the Newworldfans build link. You want to be taking Fiery Restoration instead of Clearcasting on the Fire Mage tree. I've tested Evade in game in Closed Beta and it is absolutely broken. If you are able to chain at least 2 light attacks after an evade, it will be back up again. So it's even better than the 3 second cool down that i anticipated.

I love this build, but I feel like I'm not using evade correctly. Like should I be waiting to use to try to evade an attack? I can't ever get it to Evade to a side, it's always going straight forward. I'll figure it out. Hope you're having now that New World is upon us!

Hi man, I'm building this on the CBT, i'm feeling kinda weak compared to other ppl, i leveled con and then dex as u said, one thing that i did not undertand was: do i get 50 point invested on Dex Regardless of my items and equip buffs? when do i start to invest in inteligence? just when i get the 50 points on dex?

Is fireball a viable skill over pillar of fire? Also is Tondo necessary for this build? I feel like it takes a while to stack up 3 stacks of tondo bleeds.
