“I’m Crazy ‘Bout My Baby” written by Fats Waller and Alex Hill.

For tunes where I don’t have much a variation to offer on each “A section”, I figure the last 8 of the melody serves as a solid enough introduction to a chorus-length chord solo, in the style of the undersung Allan Reuss.

If you dig this style of playing, my trio gigs feature both sides of my playing, with a mix of Reuss-style acoustic tunes, and Charlie Christian-style electric ones.
