COMMON MODEL DESCRIPTION: Since 1973, the Selga-404 portable radio receiver has been produced by the Popov Riga Radio Plant. The radio receiver was developed on the basis of the ''Selga-402'' model and is designed for reception in the LW, MW bands. The 3-loop FSS in the IF amplifier is replaced by a 2-loop band-pass filter, local oscillator stabilization is introduced. The sound quality and loudness have improved significantly due to the use of the new 0.5GD-37 loudspeaker. The sensitivity of the receiver "Selga-404" in the LW range is 1.2 mV/m, MW - 0.6 mV/m. Adjacent channel selectivity not less than 26 dB. The receiver is powered by 9V 6F22 type battery or six AA type cells. Receiver dimensions - 190 x 100 x 46 mm, weight 0.7 kg. The price of the receiver in the basic configuration is 32 rubles 67 kopecks. Export radios were named "Comix" and "Vega". Selga-404 radios were produced in only one color scheme (black).
