No disrespect to any other band, but the best band ever assembled and lead by Anyone was assembled and lead/trained by Prince - the NPG specifically and notably Renato Neto on keys, Rhonda Smith on bass, John Blackwell on drums, Candy Dolfer on Sax, Maceo Parker on sax, Michael Scott(?) on jazz/rythm guitar, Shelby J vocals, Morris Hays on synth and others (excluding Larry Graham) who joined that core group over time.
