My favorite gear of the year... with one disappointment.

On the final day of 2024 we go over my personal favorite gear that I've demoed over the last 12 months. There are too many awesome people to thank for another great year on youtube so I will just say thank you all!

Very nice video. Overall quality of your work has improved a lot from when you first started, and your early videos were already pretty good. I have watched some other YT streamers who I think are pretty honest and they really liked the HB modern Plus, or said it was a fine instrument, but neck profile/trem were not for them. I also watch a couple who agreed with you, which leads me to believe they are really inconsistent, and you might get a great instrument, or a real dog (no disrespect to my canine friends) -which was my experience with my HB T-62. First one was not even good enough to be called a B-stock, second has not a single flaw. I am still interested in the modern plus and would love to mess around with one, but will wait until the next version. As robotics improve, we are going to see more and more features from top of the line guitars move down to the budget level. Rounded edges, perfectly finished frets, Plect guitar setups for entire line, AI/computer assisted final setup and QC. Top of the line guitars will be the same as today, best wood, play-ability, hand made, but the differences will be even less dramatic then today. The next few years are going to be amazing for guitarists as even more high end features creep up into budget and mid priced guitars. Congrats on another year of great content.
