I grew up listening to Supertramp as the second youngest of eight kids. I would pass by my elder siblings rooms and hear this genius as an eight or nine year old. I could not care who was playing the music. In 2010 I was at this concert and everyone, I mean everyone, was in shock leaving it. It was Beautiful. Its about the music, not the the people.

I saw Supertramp in concert back in the mid seventies with their classic line-up. To this day, one of the best shows I have had the privilege of attending . The tightness of the band and sound quality was absolutely astounding . Crime Of The Century is one helluva brilliant album .

Final cut on their 974 release, title track, co-written Davies/Hodgson. It was usually the closing song while out on tour, it was in that night when a 14 year old kid and his older sister went to see them that summer... so Awesome! Blown away, not only hearing, but feeling it. Music.

I have loved Supertamp since the early 70's, this is my favourite album, got all their other stuff, never saw them live until a couple of years ago. They were awesome, shame Roger wasn't there, but nethertheless a fabulous concert

Alot of people think Crime of the Century was written by Rick Davies but it is 1 of 2 songs written and composed by both Rick and Roger on the album, the other being School. Rick sang Crime of the Century and Roger sang School.

It's a damn shame those two could not put aside their petty differences and at least give the true fans a reunion tour. I saw Supertramp in 1997 ...without Roger...and they were great. I have seen Roger four times in his post Supertramp life and he has been truly outstanding...better each time. Both lead singers and their differing works complemented the band...gave it its strength and soul. I like a lot of Rick's songs...From Now On is my favorite Supertramp song bar none. Like I said...a damn shame to rob the fans like that.

Music man... Somehow it almost feels like music comes oh so very close to condensing the entire human experience into this one single chunk of... I don't know... emotion..? It almost defines who we are.
