In this Tutorial I´ll show you how to setup the locked on stabilization effect in the video editing software Davinci Resolve. You can also use this technique when your normal stabilization gives you bad results.

Anyone else having stabilization tracking problems in Resolve 19?

My footage has film noise. Because of that the analyzed tracking area ends up being jittery which makes the entire shot jittery too. How do I smoothen it? Or alternatively: How do I denoise before the planar tracker is applied? When I apply denoising it seems to be applied -after- the planar tracker is applied.
