Opening Bell: The 30-share S&P BSE opened deep in the red at 78,620.40, down a whopping 2,361.55 points or 2.92 per cent. Mirroring it, Nifty50 too started the session with a gap down at 24,302.85, falling 414.85 points or 1.68 per cent.
