Obagi Medical SkinCare Retinol 1.0% Review

I've only tried a few Obagi products but I must say that I was pretty impressed with their Retinol 1% Treatment. I've tried many different Retinol Treatments and if the retinol is not in a cream that contains other antioxidants and hydrating ingredients my skin will get dry and flaky after one use. This didn't happen with the Obagi Retinol 1%. I really like that they included other beneficial ingredients such as shea butter and jojoba seed oil. This also doesn't have any noticeable fragrance or essential oils. I also am a fan of they way that Obagi packaged this in a travel friendly squeeze tube. If you haven't used Retinol before I highly recommend checking out the Obagi 0.5% Retinol or mixing this a moisturizer for the first month or so.

Wow, great ingredient list! I really with they were cruelty free. I’ve been thinking about cutting out the brands that aren’t. Sigh...my Dior Face and Body😩, lol. Really though, this one does sound super nice.

Vitamin A IS supposed to make your skin flaky and peel off but ofcourse you could start slow to prevent that

Obaji 1% vs SkinCeuticals 1%? I’ve been using the SkinCeuticals for about a year and a half but the Obaji is more cost effective.

Im going to buy 1.0 retinol at a spa near me, Im sick of buying low grade retinol from drugstores and getting minimal results, been using these for years, roc, olay, loreal etc...will start here...then move on to the hard core tretinoin lol..unless I love the results from the 1.0 retinol..thx

I have been using the differin 0.1 % at night with the ordinary 1%retinol in squalane at night and the roc retinol serum in the morning and I love it. I wouldnt suggest it for others but It seems to be fine for me, Im 58 so I want you suggest something really strong like skinceutical 1%?
