Now we know that all towers don't really go well with each other, but there are combinations that straight up sabotage each other and make towers you spent tens of thousands of dollars on, completely useless. In this video we'll talk about a specific interaction between the Druid and the Glue Gunner where buying the wrong crosspath and positioning it in a bad spot can lead to one of them being literally useless.

It's also hilarious that the tornadoes remove the frozen effect from bloons when a Monkey Knowledge makes the bloons freeze upon contact with the ball of lightning

Would be cool if they added an interaction that makes the Tornadoes amplify the damage from Burning effects like Burny Stuff.

Just did some quick testing, assuming this was a result of some code just resetting a bloon's state when it gets sent back on the track. But no, burny stuff, laser shock, and alchemist potions all continue through the blowback.

Lol I remember the between-round tips back in BTD4 mentioning that tornadoes remove glue and Ice status, so I’ve kinda just kept that in mind all this time even though the game’s never bothered to point it out since.

I remember this combo from earlier bloons td game (I forgot which one) when wizard had the tornado. The description said it remove glue and frozen effect. Guess part of that got inherited.

I was always wondering where is the glue removal by the tornado since its a thing in BTD5 and the fact that I cannpt even see the effect taking place. Glad to see it back. That or just me not reading descriptions.
Anyway, at least this combo is good for getting the glue achievement

the best way to synergise these: bloon solver at the begin of your track, and the storm druid at the back to blow any bloons that somehow escaped back into the bloon solver range as well as maybe adding a ninja with sticky bombs to deal with the camos and moab class bloons?

This was also a thing for tornado wizards in BTD5. The description of the tornado upgrade even tells you that it removes glue and ice effects.

There’s one thing that just ruins the sniper in late game. If you do this for literally one second, you’ll die. It’s kind of specific, but, if you put a Sniper with Fully Automatic Rifle with a Maim Moab Sniper and put them both on the “Stronger” targeting option or both on the “First” targeting option, the FAR Monkey will ruin the Maim Moab one, and you’ll have tons and tons of rainbows, zebras, and pinks speeding at the exit

My guess is that the reason for this is that the bloons blowback speed is the same as their normal movement speed. So they would move back super slow if glued while blown back which might be a bit op.
