Finally! Only taken 5 months and a new ute to upload it 😉 How's the fulcrum kit going in the ute? Thinking of heading in to the Pakenham store when I'm back down there and getting a whole kit for mine.

Doesn’t jumping on it damage the knuckle ? I’m literally facing this issue, replacing my coilovers to the original and I have no clue on how to pull it down safely and properly to install the original struts

Great video man! I checked out fulcrum suspension about my load capacity. I rang them up and she said we would need the lift correction arm upgrade and the Polyair kit. I mean $3200 and thats if i do it myself. Do you get the upgraded lift correction arm or polyair kit? I thought it might be a good price, but $3500 I cant justify.

Any sag as of today in the front? Heard it’s fairly common with Formula?

Hello Josh, I really want to commend you on the great work done. Please l have 2007 model of mitsubishi l200 and wish to modify the suspension as you did. Can you help me acquire the necessary part needed for this modification. Thanks

Great vid mate. Bout to replace my struts. Iv done many of these and I find it easier if you undo the cv nut and pop the cv in and will give u clearance to pop out the old and in with the new. Instead of taking those 3 nuts off the upper control arm. Then having to Jack it up to line the nuts back on.

Also the lower strut bolt should be tightened when on the ground Jack stands out. Can twist the inner pressed rubbers when compressed. Anywayz done a great job.

well done mate but if I was you I would get two new modified top control arms that have a wider opening to allow the struts/shockies to pass through without touching. At full suspension droop ( both front wheels on the vehicle but off the ground) there should be between 5 & 10 mm clearance between the strut & the inside opening of the top control arms all the way around ( from the video, you do not have that clearance -9:06 on video & it is very dangerous).
If there is not a minimum of 5mm clearance at full droop you will need to make up spacers that fit under the bump stops to stop the top control arm from dropping down so far. Or force the OEM factory bump stops back in, which maybe near impossible to do on the drivers side with everything back in.

Without the aftermarket modified top control arms you may even have to run your vehicle with the suspension arm sitting on the Bump stops permanently if you can't get the 5mm clearance. And it will be a dam rough ride if you do. But otherwise if you don't then you will eventually either bend your front struts or shock absorbers or both. Then you will have to buy more new ones, so please check the clearance with both front wheels off the ground with the suspension at full droop very soon.
