kid at my local club goes to school and is at the course everyday for 4-5 hours min. It's all about how much you want it.

Parents would do anything for their kids, sure. That's where golf academies such as IMG and GGGA and else come in. These are private boarding schools with main focus on student athletes' developments. Look around the world for private boarding schools in Switzerland and Europe, tuitions, meals and board aren't inexpensive by any means. This is a matter of choice for those who have the means. Whether or not such concentration programs can actually produce more tour pros on PGA and LPGA is really a separate issue. Believe me, the tuitions will only go higher if more of their alumni are golf stars.

Yes, wow they have obviously won more junior tournaments and generated more college scholarships than any one else, that’s why they recruit kids to go to IMG and make the school look better, and the kids that aren’t on scholarship better be getting something out of it for the price per year
