Only been user blender for about a month, but I have been meaning to get around to learning more about light set ups. I come from a background in photography, so I don't think it should be to hard, but the hdri was an easy way for me to just focus on learning to model/sculpt. Thanks for the reminder though and all the videos you make. I've watch a bunch, but only just subbed yesterday

Smeaf, thing to note is the portion of the video that has your model space is partially cut off when viewing on a phone so I couldn’t see what you did, just the render viewport. Unsure if intentional but thought it was worth mentioning 😊

Today I wondered why the light doesn't work for me. I even made the area lamp 50 thousand for testing and nothing worked, everything was black. The world lighting was also on black. Then I realized that my scene was too big. If the scene is too big, the light doesn't go on anymore. 😅
