50+ year Vikings fan here. Like most fans, I'm usually pissed off, upset, mad, whatever when my Vikings lose, but this team has something special about it in it's fight to never give up. Being down 11 points most teams would roll over, but they absolutely fought their way back and took the lead. Mediocre teams cash it in being down 11 and move on to next week but championship teams fight until the end. I'M excited to see the rest of the season!

No time to panic. The Vikings played a solid Lions team and came up a bit short. The Vikings have the pieces for a solid team, but changes need to be made to help improve this team.

I think people are overreacting. We lost against one of the best teams at home. Lions lost to baker at home and people say it’s an off game. Lions almost lost a handful of games already and have greenbay coming up. I think we got comfortable on the bye week and it hurt us. This game was lost by us, not them. Onto the next.

That Branch int.. Aaron jones was so wide open he could or would of scored. You decide to throw a more pickable ball instead of possibly a TD to Aaron in the flat. I was like WTH are you doing Darnold, only time I was so frustrated with him. Like Aaron was 15 yards open. SMH

I don't know how Detroit didn't get a first down until time expired in the first quarter, then score 4 straight touchdowns. Flores needed to change the Defense up cause apparently Ben Johnson did. To be the best you have to adapt. Don't need 4 touchdowns to make stops again.

Real staying clean is surgical. Goff getting hit equals rattled. He fumbled every time he was sacked. Detroits o-line is supreme. That being said they sure got away with holding on a regular basis to keep Goff clean most of the game. Prepping for the next game, don't expect any zebra help and own them.

Question…on that last play of the game, should they have tried to kick a field goal? I realize it prob would’ve been the longest ever but I feel like that’s more likely than throwing the ball 60 yards.
