People don't realize that if Platinum Games games were on any other platform their games would run just as smooth as this, which is to say they wouldn't run very smooth at all. Why?

Because their entire gameplay style is frame rate taxing. If they ported their game to any other console and optimized it for other consoles they would dip just as much. And as crazy as these games are you'd never notice or care while playing it. When you play this game the only time you hit 60 fps is when you're in the challenge mode where there is only you and the your challenge and a less taxing environment. But what people are also not taking into account is the amount characters the are controlling. You are literally controlling 100+ individual characters who have their own stats (a very small amount experience bar) and you have 7 to 10 of them who have unique abilities and you're often accessing those abilities in milliseconds.

We all know the xbone and PS4 can run this as is a lot better, because of not even worth mentioning power gap that everyone knows and accepts so bringing it up is pointless. But if they made this game for those consoles and upped the graphics and other stuff this game would be dipping too. Same Bayonetta 2.

This game isn't even demanding st all so I could see how the fps is good on this game but let's just see how the fps would look with let's say bf4 or let's say a racing game like forza or gt5 on Wii u

I don't care about the resolution nor the framerate of the game. I bought this at day one for the full $60 and it was damn well worth it. The game gave me so much joy, much more than people trying to justify paying $500 for a shiny turd of an Xbone before the price drop.

Lot smoother than so called next gen games. But just one thing, why when it comes to people the frame is lower. Everything else is smooth. I found this funny .

This is an amazing game. Don't get why people are complaining about the framerate as it does not hamper the experience at all. Not like a lot of good PS4/XBONE games use 60fps. If you want 60 fps and 1080p just get a PC. Consoles are not there yet for the most part.

Framerate isn't bad for all that's happening on screen. Framerate aside, this game looks very fun and might justify picking up a WiiU...

This one had me curious just because I knew there'd be lots of shit running around on screen. While it fails to meet it's target of 60fps, it does seem to hold steady at 40+fps. which is more than playable. Thanks for the upload!

I have all the last and current gen console plus a powerful gaming pc, but i really enjoy the wiiu, it offers something different where the one and ps4 are pretty similar . I was a hater for a long time time of the wiiu but after the windwaker bundle and mario cart came out i grabbed one and im really glad i did. Nintendo consoles have been the same for awhile you get them for the first party games some third party but 95% of my games are first party and im finally getting to play xenoblade chronicles. I pretty much bought the wiiu for X, mario cart, zelda and super smash bros. But the new xenoblade game looks epic i hope i don't have my expectations to high. But give the wiiu a chance it makes a great companion console to your one, ps4 or pc.
