Ben i use the Factory goPro 3m adhesive on the side of the hemlet. I dont like the vertical video, but it serves its purpose.. and its been in the same spot for 3 years and hasnt come off.. I have only Encountered one track having a problem with wearing the Camera and that was Tony Stewart Speedway, Columbus In, no one ever explained why. I wore it for My heat came off and was told they werent alowed and was put in the back for my feature..i was not happy and have not returned!

From the outside I think the new mounting location is better than the gluing it on the side or top of the helmet which looks a little weird anyway

I have the same one depending on how you sit up in the seat or how your steering wheel is set it can block The view

Finally last night I got back on the kart after 14 years... how do you deal with " glass's" I cant get them on through the opening and on my ears didn't need glasses when I frustrated 🤬

I use that exact same mount for my gopro. One thing I noticed with it is that seat position really has an impact on the video. But overall it's a quality piece. I've used it for two years now and have no complaints. Here is some footage I got from using it.
