Joe Biden ‘not confident at all’ in a peaceful transition of power if Trump loses

US President Joe Biden has claimed he doesn’t have confidence there’ll be a peaceful transfer of power if former president Donald Trump loses the upcoming election in November.

In his first TV interview since exiting the race, the US President spoke with CBS News chief election correspondent Robert Costa about the election campaigns.

“He means what he says. We don’t take him seriously. He means it. All this stuff about ‘if we lose, there’ll be a bloodbath’,” Mr Biden said.
