The grenade valve caps will corrode in a very short time having them on. Had them on my truck and they corroded very shortly after putting them on.

Jetting and pipe have to match letting the baffle out sounds better but it is not recommended I see valvetrain issues in your future.Cooler air rushing back on a hot valve will result in egg shaped valve and have to be fixed reliability should leave the stock setup alone you will be better off in the long run.

i think you put the adapter in backwards. since your going from a smaller size to a larger size. You probably didn't need to cut the adapter. Otherwise sounds great.
