But when the dozens of texts, unexpected visits, and conversations dominated by unsolicited advice force Lori to draw strict personal boundaries, Marnie begins to realize how her compulsive need to insert herself into the lives of others – even when it seem to make everyone else happy - is covering up an emptiness she does not know how to face on her own.
