A few things:
Sorry the video is super late.
Also sorry we're releasing it at night. All the more important to watch and share it so YouTube thinks it's a good video and will promote it to the morning crowd.
There is a lack of sound fx in this because it was so late and I just wanted to publish it before I went to see the movie.
You look nice in that shirt :)

Am I the only person who finds some of those 'W's really uncomfortable to look at?

Great video as always, by the way.

The classic logo will always be my favorite, but I love the vanishing point one, too, as it's iconic on the original poster.

As a huge Star Wars nerd I really enjoyed this video. It was super interesting to learn about the various logos. I thought there had only ever been two.

Great video as always. I didn't know there could be so much controversy over a single letter.

I always considered the smooth curve on the R to be something very nice looking, so it's interesting to me that the R on some of the latest iterations goes down in a straight line.

Actually, the original title was: Adventures of Luke Starkiller, as taken from the Journal of the Whills, Saga I: The Star Wars. They shortened it to "The Star Wars" then finally Star Wars.

Marvel's Star Wars comic was pretty good, actually, once they got past the movie adaptation. I was suprised by how well Carmine Infantino's art worked in the late 70s/early 80s with the right inker, and Carmine's art was a big part of the reason I tried Spider-Woman and Nova.

The one that you pointed out with no context was the best

For all of the Star Wars fans out there, I like to highly recommend looking up the 1980 NPR Radio broadcast of Star Wars that has a extended story, from when Luke saw the space battle taking place in orbit of Tatooine and seeing Biggs before he left, to how Leia actually came into possession of the Death Star plans. You can find this right here on YouTube.

I love the ones in the official posters.

You missed the silvery Kenner logo from the original toy line. It's similar to the familiar screen used one, but it's...silvery, and is often placed with a golden Luke and Leia.
