Rosé wrote Apt it's based on a Korean drinking game and is also the Korean pronunciation for the word Apartment. Rosé joined Atlantic Records for her solo work and when she heard Bruno was on the label she asked if he would be interested in a collab so he said to send him 3 songs. Her team didn't want to send him Apt because they didn't think he would do it but Rosé said it had to be that one she was convinced he would pick that one. Finally, Bruno asked Rosé what Apt meant as they had become closer and she said it was a Korean drinking game and he thought the idea was sick and signed up.

We've definitely seen this drinking game played in at least a couple of Kdramas. Never understood the game until I seen Rose explain it on Hot Ones this week. Lol

I find both the song and the video really funny and I like the idea that they included some dance steps from the movie Breakfast Club. It gives the video even more of a retro style. 80's.

Got a lot more music coming from Rosé in less than a month. Her album 'Rosie' is dropping on Dec. 6th 12-tracks all co-written and co-produced by Rosé. Paper magazine listened to a 6 track sample of the album and said: 'It’s a capital-P pop album with shades of intimate Swiftian storytelling and cathartic, soaring hooks as she paints a narrative of a love gone wrong: missed red flags, having dark nights of the soul at 3 AM and being toxic until the end.'

Rosé has a few other solo songs 'On the Ground' and 'Gone', which have music videos and there is a Blackpink song sung only by Rosé called 'Hard to Love'

Great reaction! I'm from New Zealand where Rose was born and Jenny stayed for five years also Lisa stayed for over a year. So l am a fan however I was hoping that you may check out a guy named Dimash his song (When I've got you) official music video and let me know what you think about him his voice can go low and very very high at will he is that good at what he does. He a good person to people and a good looking guy also tall he's a Opera Rock Pop classical singer anyway thanks if you're ready down to here!

I've watched 10 reactions to this video so far and only one reactioner picked up on the homage to the movie, The Breakfast Club. The way Bruno is dressed and alot of the dance moves.

This was first written by Rosie but i think most people's favorite part of the song is the pre chorus most likely written by bruno mars. that style is pretty similar to his other songs imo so it makes sense that this is a collaboration and not a feature since both him and rosie took part in writing this catchy song along with many others.

Just learnt this recently but the part with the build up vocals you like is called the ‘Pre-Chorus’ and a ‘Bridge’ is the part where the melody/lyrics switch up usually near the last chorus and happens once vs pre chorus which is repeatable

I really hope you do K Variety reactions also with more people because you guys now know more of the actors and idols. You can start with Game Caterers actors agencys because adorkable and director also might know them. BH and Artist Agency Game Caterers episodes are good. Then there are Starship episodes which is actors plus Idols company.
Or Select the Running Man episodes of the Actors and Idols you love. I am pretty sure not many people are reacting to K Variety.
