I have the 13 pro max and undoubtedly it’s battery is literally amazing and lasts all day. i cannot complain about the battery at all. and people say the new 15.4 update makes the battery life even better so. that’ll be even crazier to see how long it’ll last then.

I have both of these phones, while I can tell you that the 13 Pro Max is definitely battery king, real world usage & user statistics matter. Not just out-of-the-box battery drains. I can comfortably last all day with heavy usage with my S22 Ultra. The 13 Pro Max is easily a two day phone with heavy usage, though.

XS iPhone upgraded to 13 Pro Max. Battery life is amazing. Screen on time 11 hours 1 minute with 18% battery left. I used it all day long playing video games, netflix, tiktok, Instagram, and other stuff. NON STOP. Just to test the batter. My old XS would need to charge 5x if used like this lmao.

Machine learning over time also factors into battery optimization as well. Apple does incredible here because they design everything - hardware, software, and processor, so they can teach the software to adapt to how the user uses the device. People think iOS is old and behind the times, but it's actually extremely advanced, just can't see it.

The fact that 13 pro alone with a little less than 3100mAh battery can outlast s22 ultra with it's 5000mAh says something. Basically 60% more efficient

Can’t even imagine how 14 pro max battery will be with more powerful processor and extra 2 gb ram and also if increased battery size, surely will be more than 2 days use

I got the S22 Ultra recently, upgraded from the Note 10+ and I feel my 2 and a half years old Note 10+ can last longer. I am not impressed with the battery life on the S22 Ultra. It randomly gets warm too throughout the day and it loses more battery life per hour over night in silent mode. But other than all of that, I love this camera setup. I take a lot of pics and vids so that is where the S22 Ultra wins over my note 10+

I got my s22 about two weeks ago and I've noticed small battery improvements and decent app loading speed improvements in the last week. The Galaxy phones are taking longer this year to get fully optimized but they are still improving as more apps releases updates.

Recently bought the 13 pro max (upgrading from xr) and it’s so refreshing not having to charge my phone every couple hours, it literally lasts all day without fail. With my xr I always carried around a power bank.

been seeing that the s22 ultra battery life has been worse than the s21 ultra almost everywhere. Might just wait for the next iphone instead of sticking with samsung, especially considering what apple has actually done some stuff for right to repair and the environment because of that recycling program.
