"The human eye cannot process more than 10-12 images per second"...lol - we can tell who doesn't game at all here...

The human eye can see 500fps quite easily, however it cannot distinguish between - for example - a 1ns BRIGHT flash of light, and a 100ms dim light due to our receptors needing to come down from a base level after having been exposed to a bright stimulus.
