I completely agree with you that hands down, the WRX is very capable. What’s amazing about it is the endless potential that it possesses to be whatever car you want it to be. The CVT Auto has strengths that the MT lacks. But it doesn’t mean one is better than the other. Its preference and intended outcome or use. Like you, I constantly check my equity and it’s amazing to see how little of a drop the car gets when compared to the depreciation of other platforms.

I’ll continue to watch your content regardless of it being Subaru or not.

The 6 speed is rated at 3 mpg more on highway driving. I love my 2019 wrx premium. I drive mine 3 days a week, I also commute to work in an older Toyota Corolla. Im in the Pennsylvania mountains, just got about 5 inches of snow. This car is awesome in the snow. I also have a f150 4x4 for the deep snow. If you're planning on building a fast 1, then just get a cheap economy car for a reliable commuter. Doesn't have to be cheap though, everyone's budget is different. My Toyota runs flawless with 188k on the dash.

The CVT has really improved from 2015 model, Subaru has done a fantastic job on 2020/2021 models improving all aspects on the CVT 👍

How did your car do in the snow? I can attest that the Dunlop winter maxxx tires are great. I worked just over 54 hrs this storm, and can’t believe how 4” of snow and ice could be so devastating. I’m going out today to put my tires to the ice test!!!!
