Brilliant! This is a novelty! Since Incantation no other piece seemed to tell a quite complex story on that level. This one seems to have that sort of emotional narrative though. It's as if the piece is suffering, and events seem to unfold and express dynamically motion. Totally should be used for a film adaptation of the Count of Monte Cristo or any other story set in 1600s-1800s period. Very Victorian. I wonder though somehow, it's as if a deceptive cadence mood lingers on it, never allowing the major to quite shine through. I would love to see this re-harmonized in major with an explosive circle of fifths/ albeit more complex progression, with the ornamented punchlines like those in Incantation. (in the chorus I mean)

I thought Incantation couldn't be beaten, but this piece proves I was wrong! I love this because it draws so much emotion from the minor keys. It's absolutely my favorite musical mood - dark, but still hopeful. Thank you!
