External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar in Tokyo said,'We have views on China based on our experience. Our relations with China aren't very good. The main reason for that is in 2020, during Covid, China brought very large forces to the border areas between India & China in violation of agreements that we had with China. That created tensions. The consequences of that continue as the issue has not been fully resolved. The relationship right now with China is not good, not normal.'

India and China have been friends for 5, 000 years, except for the war in 1962 war, which has set back the relationship, can India & China not resolve their differences? After all India and China have a lot in common, India can share a lot with China in several areas, medicine, transportation, space, naval supply chain, environmental science, weather, textiles, aviation, etc. Come on Jaishankar, take a leap and extend a hand, if you solve the China friendship issue you will also solve the Pakistan issue too. Please don’t fall for the flattery of the west, and play on your strength and laugh a lot.

Jaishankar is such a rockstar! Also - India absolutely LOVES Japan! I just wish instead of importing $100Billion+ of goods from China we start importing goods from Japan. Yes, the transportation costs will be relatively high, but the goods will be at par with China in terms of cost, and the quality will be at least 10 times better.
