As a big Huger Games fan, Mockingjay is very different from the first and second books on purpose. It's a realistic continuation of the story. I definitely found it quite hard to read from Katniss's perspective in this, and that's intentional. All of the characters are dealing with mental struggles and grief. It's definitely not a "fun" book, but I think the themes of mental health, hypocrisy, and corrupt government really go underappreciated. Btw, I've been binging your videos lately! Love your channel ❤️
