It’s been 6 yrs and Zion has played total of 1/2 season 😂😂😂
Dude is just enjoying his guaranteed money.

This is exactly what Michael Jordan said about the new players' breed. They are signed to these huge contracts and have not proven themselves. There is no FIRE to exceed beyond the paycheck they already guaranteed! This is why the All-Star game has been a waste of time; it's not about getting a ring at the end of the season anymore. It's not all Zion's fault. I blame the league, the Pelican organization, and his parents for babying him.
There's no hunger for Zion outside his local fast-food joint.

It’s the NBA team’s fault who gives a young kid $300 million. Why would he ever have to try ever again at anything at it?

This man gets paids millions of dollars to do nothing. They need to fire his ass and call it a day.

You guys are looking at this all WRONG.

Regular season viewership is down. Players and fans are apathetic. The league needs novel advertisers. The Krispy Kreme tournament could be the answer. Zion takes on all comers. A dozen original glazed before each quarter.

In 5yrs before his 3rd heart attack forces retirement, Zion will be the undisputed Krispy Kreme basketball goat.

Zion's actually setting a new model. He has to have made the most money playing the fewest amount of games for anybody in league history. If you can drop people's jaws at an early age where they have to go all in on you, then you can be sitting pretty with generational wealth and eating good with no worries. Only got to sacrifice your body doing all that insane stuff while you young. Can't do non guaranteed contracts cause the rest of the players would do a lockout. Only secret ingredient you need to make it all work is being the freakiest athlete ever at 17. Genius.

The disappointment that's named Zion Williamson is a BIG reason folks are tuning out of the NBA. Folks just hate this bad mentality these entitled egos possess. Plus throw in the fact that folks who were followers who invested in Zion (rather than Jokic) back in 2018 are down BIG TIME and can't stomach to face their losses. The NBA is a reminder of their own foolishness.

As a Pelicans fan I was very sad with AD's departure. Adding Zion gave me so much hope that maybe we could have another star that could potentially give them a ring. Zion has been a huge letdown. It's not even about loving the game. Pro basketball is his JOB. Players like Zion need to be given an ultimatum. Either he locks in or he's fired. Get players that don't wanna WORK out of here (Ben Simmons.) Millions of players out there would be willing to work their butts off to play in the NBA. Then we got players like Zion just leeching a fat check and wasting a slot on the team. Sure, Zion is super talented, but all that potential with no direction is just a waste.

Jokic is the perfect example of "basketball is just my job." Jokic is all business for the NBA season. Then goes home to his family and his horses once the season is over. You don't need the obsession of Kobe to be a great player. Despite all of the drama and trouble he's gotten himself into, Zion still has his youth. There's still has time to redeem himself and show that he is worth the time and money. I really hope he does cause seeing all of that potential go to waste is just disheartening.

That Nike PG 2 exploding 4:03 on Zion's foot tells you more about the brand's quality more than his weight issue. Top tier basketball shoes should not fail in a way that could cause season ending injuries. Shaq played 19 seasons starting from 133kg all the way to 155kg with zero injury from shoes failing to hold up his weight.

Wild to think he peaked in high school

New Orleans is either trading him or releasing him by the deadline. I think it would be better for both parties if they just parted ways atp. New Orleans is just going to have to bite the bullet and hit another rebuild just like my Hornets.

He is the prime example of talent can take you to the NBA, but good work ethic and heart keeps you in.

Yeah and hilarious I was basically saying that he was going to turn out this way and people used to say just how wrong I was well what do you say now

As a New Orleans native that now lives up north, my boy needs to move. I’d be 40% fatter had I stayed in Nola. Up here, I rarely even want to eat out. The food down there is that good, arguably the best in the world.

He’s unreliable he’s not a bust, talent is all star level if he actually cared about the game or his health
