It idea for you to consider.

Buy a lot in a area away from the city. Up in the hills of Chilliwack as a example. Make sure it’s fully of grid. It will be a challenge of course but if you can make it happen.

The idea is a long term investment. One day you will be looking at getting a house for a future family. Setting up a home base could be a start

Next buy a shipping container. Put it on the property. Fix it up inside so that it’s dry. Over time add some portable solar panels to place outside. Add some storage shelves Use it for a work shop and a short stopover.

I’m sure this idea my sound crazy but in fact that’s how Vancouver got settled back in 1790 . By young families starting with a bit of land.

Thank you so much dude you’re really an encouragement. I’ve been struggling with depression and homelessness for a while I have $50 in savings and I have to get my adventure on. I’m in Orange County California and the rent prices are insane. Gonna really work my Uber job this month and see how much I can save for a down payment. Something HAS to change.

Pretty new to the channel (almost 2 yrs), I found you when you did the filming for Jesse & Alyssa and recognised a creative genius immediately. Your passion and brilliant skills lift the spirits and make me smile every post. I’ve really loved the tutorials using procreate & I love the gear vids sorry.

All that going thru my head during boarding section (to George of the jungle tune) is " Levi watch out for that tree...CRASH!"
I've always wondered how life & finance actually breaks down for YT creators.
So thanks.

Levi, thank you for these videos. I think the amount of motivation and aspiration that you inspire into us, your subscribers, is way bigger than you realize. It is creators like you, Becki and Cris, Peter, Matti, Gene and so many others that made people like me, with zero knowledge in the video world to pick up a phone, an old camera and start creating something.
And I need to thank you for that.

And thanks to Sqarespace and other companies for spending money on creators like you and the rest of the crew from Spaceatation and enabling you to create informative and relevant videos.

Thank you!

Great to see the goings on behind the scenes and hear a bit about that. Sounds like a good way to vent too :) Glad you're still doing what you love.

Is youtube incentivizing some creatives to make more content? It felt like youtube was dropping off and now all the same characters are producing more. Nevertheless it's welcome, I absolutely love your content and can't get enough!

I'm making the transition into photography and video making right now. It is not easy and I keep asking myself how the hell other people do it but I guess it's about patience and keep doing what you believe in. Nice inspirational video man! I don't usually watch long videos on youtube but whenever you post something even if it's more than 30 mins I always watch it till the end 😁

Zoa! I did my first splitboarding tour up there probably around the same time you did (mid Jan!) Loved it and I'm stoked to get more into the backcountry. Thanks for the biz insight Levi. As a Motion Designer I love what I do but the negative is also WAY too much time at a computer... wish I could change that and although I have a (small) van for escapes too, I have looked at your adventure film making van-life-style with envy (or lets say for inspiration) so it is interesting to hear that you still find you spend too much time at a computer editing! Gahhh... Maybe you can hire an editor soon. Personally this video is a great help with thinking about diversifying my income streams..

Nice Levi. Good seeing the InMist gents! What was the sponsorship group you mentioned? Had a hard time hearing that.
