Hi Dr. Jamal,
Thank you for spending your time to share your knowledge with us..
I am a new student to medical field and i have quiet a bit confusing question.
In human heart there are 4 chambers, Each chamber can develop a hypertrophy. The 4 hypertrophies are RVH, LVH, RAH and LAH. If we identify one or many above mentioned hypertrophy(s) from an ECG. Can we say that this patient has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is one of the three main categories of cardiomyopathy.
Thanks you sir.

Sir, I was finding something like this video which is very short n crisp, easy to understand because u r pointing the pathological waves with marker .
Sir kindly make more short videos on other pathological ecg .
Thanks n regards

The problem with voltage criteria for LVH is that body habitus, bundle-brach blocks can make it less accurate.

Thanks for the video Dr Jamal, i have question: do we need to see ST depression and inverted T to make sure or the signs in the video are enough? if yes which leads should i look?

R wave in V6 is above the one you explained on, right ? The one you explained was in lead ll

Some people are telling me to use v1 or v2 and some say only v1 for LVH. Is v2 just as reliable?

I don't but my waves in v6 is high but in v5 it is below 20mm and not matching criteria i check all other criteria no one is matching only v6+S1 is matching but in echo no hypertrophy so what does that means and how my v6 is higher than v5
