Singapore Airlines Premium Economy Review | Vancouver to Singapore | Airbus A350-900 | 17 Hr Flight

This is the second video in my Thailand Travel Series. This trip I'm heading to Thailand with the Tourism Authority of Thailand of Canada. So 48 hours prior to my flight I did need to get a PCR test which I did through LifeLabs FlyClear in Richmond. I received my negative result about 10 hours after I did the test, which was a really quick turnaround.

Once at the Singapore Airlines check in counter at the Vancouver International Airport, all my documents were thoroughly checked over to make sure I had everything to enter Thailand. It took them about 15 minutes to go over everything with me at the counter and I was organized.
After checking in, I went through security and relaxed in the Plaza Premium Lounge prior to boarding the flight.

This helped give us some perspective on how the flight will go for our family! It's a long flight from YVR to SIN and with kids I thought it would be too much. But I hate stop overs it's way harder with smaller children so to see how the seats look helps!

Very nice presentation. I'm glad you were able to get Premium Economy. Whenever I fly LAX to SIN, I always pay the extra fare to fly PE. It makes a world of difference when you're going to be on the same flight for 17 hours.

Thanks for the report. My husband and I are flying Sydney to Singapore (8.5 hours)then onto Paris(12.5 hours) on Singapore Airlines and have purchased premium economy. You said you are about 5.4" (so am i) and found it comfortable. I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes.

The meal selection for premium economy is the same as economy except for 1 additional option.

Did you find sleeping was an issue? It would appear that is the only real difference between Business and PE. In the latter you can’t lie flat. Did you find the seats on PE went back far enough for some shut eye? Thanks.

Did you land in terminal 1 and go to terminal 3 for the ambassador hotel? We couldn't find the information on whether we can transit from terminal 1 to terminal 3 without clearing the security
