Some of this stuff is ridiculous, both in form and price. A $100 shaver as opposed to a $1.00 Bic razor. Hysterical.

"If you're feeling panicked enough to climb a tree to escape potential predators these tree steps will come in handy." -- The moment everyone skipped to the next product 🤣

I always rate carrying a cape.. They are light, cover your back pack and protect you down to below the knees.. They can serve as an instant basic shelter during short storms.. They can protect two people if you're not both big.. An adult and a smaller child . Being open at the bottom, there is less perspiration build up. Quick on and off during changeable weather.

My recommendation is the Fjallraven model..

Avoid that air pump, I got one charged it up, tried it once with success before I went out in the hills. Got out in the hills and it failed on the first go. Absolutely garbage, just use a pump bag

I’ve used the Zubat saw while I was in forestry and it works like a charm honestly so if that guy says his saw takes less energy to cut with I would suggest using it because the Zubat works wonderfully than that saw must be incredible!

These are all pretty good gadgets except that tree climbing thiing. You're not gonna have time to rachet those things when you're getting chased by an animal.

I have used the Gerber saw many times. It is great. Just be sure you have an extra saw blade. Sometimes the blades break. Always carry 3 ways to start a fire (matches, butane lighter, ferro rod) forget the BS on YouTube where folks rub 2 sticks together to start a fire. Always take a poncho with grommets around the bottom of it, a 6’x8’ sheet of plastic that is 6 mill thick. It always comes in handy. 50 feet of 7 strand 550 military cord is essential, 3 liters of water in a backpack bladder and a means of purifying water, some TP (That’s right, I said Toilet Paper), a Freshette if you are a female (it’s a directional urination device for chicks), some nuts and jerky, 2 compass (one in your pocket and one in your backpack). A Topo map of where you are going. All that I have mentioned can be purchased on Amazon except this last bit of info… . Before you leave on your trip you must tell a person you trust where you are going and when you will return. If you do not return when you are supposed to they are to call the police and report it. If you change the date of return, contact your trusted person so that they are not forced to call 911. A bogus search is expensive and you will be charged. If you do get lost, STAY PUT… in one place, start a fire, BUILD YOUR PONCHO SHELTER, relax, and let people find you. They WILL find you.
