‘Inevitable’: Joe Biden’s days were ‘numbered’ after coordinated media leaks

The Australian’s chief international correspondent Cameron Stewart claims Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race was “inevitable” after Democrats coordinated the media leaks to express their doubts about the President.

He said Democrats are “running out of time” to select a new nominee after President Biden endorsed Kamala Harris for the job.

“It’s no surprise, really, that this has happened but it's just such a momentous moment because it’s utterly upended this campaign,” Mr Stewart told Sky News Australia.
