It's not odd how rare lawnmowers or their blades as an item are... but how often lawnmower blade machetes are found in the mojave.

You can find the Lawn mower blades outside of Neils shack Next to quary Junction. It's an unmarked location alongside the train tracks

Also it is weird you cant make machetes out of the blades. Though admittedly it took a while for me to notice that's what the machetes were, pretty cool imo.

I could’ve sworn you could use the blades to make the Shishkebab but I just looked it up and that was only a thing in Fallout 3 for some reason
