In early March 2018, the UK and Ireland had been hit by a huge storm dubbed ‘The Beast from the East’. People were stranded everywhere, luckily for me, that place was…Edinburgh.

I remember being i town, dealing with a client who had voluntarily made him self homeless because he had had a falling out with his flatmate. of all the weeks of the year they could of done this he decided when the beast from the east was the week to do it. So here i was, stuck walking to and from a cafe and the homeless shelter place when the snow started and i was told by my then boss to just go home and i was like, i cant!. Madness.
