In a third co-sanctioned event between the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour in two weeks, Tahoe Mountain Club plays host to the TOUR’s only Modified Stableford Event in which points are awarded based on the number of strokes taken on each hole. An albatross is worth 8 points, an eagle 5 points, a birdie 2 points, par 0 points, bogey –1 point and a double bogey or worse –3 points. 2019 Honda Classic champion Keith Mitchell will lead the field, while Chez Reavie will aim to defend the title he won at the event 12 months ago. The victory was his third on the PGA TOUR, with his other wins coming at the Travelers Championship in 2019 and the RBC Canadian Open in 2008. Team Europe’s Ryder Cup Vice Captain, Edoardo Molinari is among the notable names from the DP World Tour teeing it up this week. After a superb T-16 finish at The Masters, as an amateur, Sam Bennett will look to continue his excellent start to his professional career, that has seen him finish inside the top 30 at the RBC Canadian Open and the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Other notables in the field include recent first-time winner Vincent Norrman, Akshay Bhatia and Wesley Bryan.
