Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was released in 2004 for the PlayStation 2. PC and Xbox versions would follow shortly afterwards.

Gameplay is captured on PC @ 60 FPS. Screen Capture Software: Nvidia Shadowplay and OBS Studio.

The Steam version is sharper but the PS2 version has better colors. PS2 version looks best imo

PS2 version is nostalgic for me. I remember sneaking on my brother's PS2 and playing it for the first time and being absolutely amazed.

I think obviously it’s more higher quality on pc but I love the absorbing
yellow in the ps2 one there should be a mod on the pc one that gives it the yellow

i remember me when i was a kid my dad brought me gta san andreas cd for PC in 2006, it ran on a XP 3 and it looked like the ps2

Only ps2 has the perfect atmosphere, i dont understand why they removed the orange tint in the other versions.. even with superior graphics it just looks so dull in comparison...

It’s still stunning how Rockstar games got GTA San Andreas running on the PS2. San Andreas pushed the PS2 to its limits.

Can someone explain why the game has so much stuttering, especially on the ps2 version? Is that just the disc being very old or was the game genuinely like this on the ps2 release...because i dont remember it being that bad.
