Dr. Brook, we need you. Please keep doing what you are doing.

Govt runs the farms (marketing boards), the schools, the roads, the airlines, the eletrical power generation, the research labs, etc. and etc.

I decline to freeze to death alone in the dark to make a point.

I will argue against all the crap to the best of my ability whenever I see the chance. And I do.

It's natural selection. If they seek the destruction of the system, the system bites back. In socialism, the government is enabling self-destruction, so you're complying with the system. In a true free market, the cancer is cut off, so it withers and rots. Our economy is mixed, so we have some people who are able to capitalize on the government's intervention and others who are restricted from it (it all depends on how good your lawyer is or how many friends you have in Washington).

Is that really what the guy is trying to communicate? Maybe with the second statement, but the first one can be just acknowledging the beneficial results of what someone is doing. Or just an acknowledgement of what someone is doing is important.

It was a rhetorical question but thanks everyone for the interesting replies. :)

Is it right for socialists to capitalize on the benefits of free market capitalism while hoping and acting for its destruction?
