Secure Shell (SSH) Overview and Configuration

Secure Shell or SSH is a protocol designed for connecting to network devices securely over an IP network. SSH is an application that operates on TCP Port 22 at the network layer (layer 3). It replaces insecure terminal emulation protocol such as Telnet 🤔
In this video, I provide a high-level overview of SSH in about 5 minutes. I then jump right into the CLI configuration and walk you through how to get SSH setup on any Cisco router/switch from scratch 🤓
This video is part of my popular Tech Nuggets series. The goal of tech nuggets is to cut to the chase & explain tech concepts in the form of small nuggets that you can consume right before walking into a customer meeting or a job interview 🧳
