Thank you Rebecca! Years ago, all this was called the "Music Ministry." There was no need to qualify it as being "Christian, Contemporary, " etc. It was always more than a "Concert, ", it was a time that these individuals took the time to not just amplify their voices in song, but to amplify, magnify, and exalt the Lord for a few short hours.

But God would bring Eternity into those few short hours, and touch lives in many ways. Here's one:

I recall an offering being taken at one concert in Kennewick Washington in 1982. Then, that offering plate--still full from what everyone gave--was passed around again-this time for those in need to take what they needed for themselves. Sometimes admission was a can of food for the hungry. The money really didn't matter to them, serving and please the Father's heart did! It was a true Love walk!
