Lookin good.. Sometimes it's best Not to hit board with level on it. Remove level, knock it down, try level again. If not, Eventually, your bubbles Won't read same either way you set it.

Solid construction methods so far good job predrilling for the spikes will save you a lot of hammering also useing 3/8 rebar instead of spikes can save you some money specially if it scrap or stuff people on Facebook want to get rid of
Traditionally butt and pass is one end of a log butts and the other passes little more stable then butting a whole log you can run cable between two tall trees and then from the cable to stump anchor to create a lifting location over the top of the cabin similar to a logging highline or how a two pole tent works lifting your logs with block and tackle or chain hoist if its just you two you'll need it for the higher logs and be carefull YouTube doesn't show how deadly building a log cabin can be specially alone with big logs there's a reason historically they were small and short buildings keep up the quality work guys

Trees that were felled in a month that has an R in it are very hard to peel. Best months to fell and peel are without Rs.
