JJ is so much younger than these other guys. He turned 21 2 weeks ago. these other guys are like 23-24 and we’re debating who’s better. JJ’s ceiling is significantly higher

JJ will be the 2nd best QB in this class. He’s a game manager with elite arm talent and mobility. You can win ALOT of games with that.

McCarthy's draft position may be debatable right now, but after the combine and private workouts, it won't be. He'll be a first round pick, and I suspect the second QB taken.

No dog in this fight, but it seems every time Michigan needed him to step on the gas, he was single time.

What can’t be overstated enough about JJ is that he is probably the most coachable player at his position in this draft. From his first year seeing spot duty during situations that better suited his skill set to his second year competing for and ultimately winning the starting job to his final year running the offense so efficiently and efficiently that he frequently wasn’t getting a lot of playing time in the second half of games until late in the season and even then at times working exclusively as the vessel to hand the ball to a running back for every offensive play in the second half.

This guy knows what it takes to win and doesn’t mind if he’s not throwing for 400 yards a game to do it.

A talented player that is coachable and willing to work hard…you can’t ask more of a quarterback and I really hope like hell my Falcons pick him.

JJ is the only Qb with a ...?
STATE TITLE in Highschool &
NATIONAL TITLE IN BOTH Highschool and Collage.

Of all the white guys in the draft at QB, JJ is the total package. I would take him over Caleb. JD, Michael P. Jr, JJ, Caleb, Bo, Michael Pratt, Joe, Spencer, Drake. In that order, not their college game, but how their game relates to the NFL

JJ made things LOOK easy. And I can't tell if it is because Michigan's offense is that simple in the passing game, or if he is just so athletically gifted and smart about the game. This is the program that made Tom Brady a 6th round draft pick.

Would love it if Atlanta got a veteran and drafted this guy for the future with a second round pick

I think teams will take a chance on McCarthy because of his young age and raw talent.

He should be a first rounder for sure!

Folks need to understand that Joe Montana, Tom Brady nor Dan Marino were great in college, yet, did pretty well being drafted lower than they should have been.

Immediate better attitude that Caleb Williams. Plenty of potential if he is given a good set of RBs and a manageable playbook

Chergers are gonna use jj McCarthy to trade down with somebody, maybe denver or Seattle so they csn get jj McCarthy at 5. Both teams desperetly need a qb like McCarthy.

McCarthy feels like a future Steeler to me. Not sure why, just have a feeling.

Caleb Williams: led USC to an 8-5 record overall, 5-4 in the PAC 12, good for 4th place tie.

Jadyn Daniels, led LSU to a 10-3 overall, 6-2 in the SEC West, good for 3rd place.

J.J. McCarthy, led Michigan to a 15-0 record, B!G title, and National Championship.

Who do you pick if you want to win?

Trade down

A chargers trade down will happen! Here’s the logic. Minnesota was scheduled to interview Harbaugh before the chargers made the hire. But why would Harbaugh go to Minnesota? Not for Kirk Cousins right? No not likely; but to draft McCarthy, instead who he fully endorsed last week as a franchise QB. The Vikings know this and want a replacement QB. McCarthy will be the best available prospect and his highlight reel tape is spectacular. Now guess who has the Vikings selecting McCarthy? Fanduel. Vegas odds have him as the clear favourite. And you better beleive they do the their homework. Then you have the giants selecting at number 6. Who is also in the market for a QB. This puts even more pressure to acquire the number 5 pick. Furthermore a trade to the Vikings or giants makes even more sense because this will block division rivals the raiders and broncos from drafting McCarthy.

Bucky said you never really saw him as the driving force of the offense. And then there’s gonna be a mad rush to trade up to get a quarterback like this? Highly unlikely

JJ gonna be lucky to be a 3rd rounder. If he goes that high. We all saw that man play. The only people that thought he was good were Michigan fans.

Small guy with a so-so arm. Seems like a round 4 pickup to me.
