Can’t believe his voice still sounds that good. My favourite version is the one in London, but that was the 90’s, I think. Amazing how good he still sounds all these years later 😅

It's pretty surreal. I heard the song first when I was six years old and we were given a copy of *Picture Book.* Jump ahead 18 years, right after *Home* was issued and I was given a copy of *Simply Red's greatest hits.* I knew by then that they were British and not American, so it did not make a whole lot of sense to me that Mick should be singing about Reaganomics and Capitol Hill. Then, I realized this was in fact a cover but also how synonymous Reaganomics and Thatcherism were.
