most are very respectful, but once you know, there's A LOT of bullies there too.
i remember one Filipino girl was bullied in Japan, she told the whole story.

I’m annoyed right now, I’m American and I am sad that when Americans are shown to be rude no one comments about it. But when OTHER countries are shown to be rude and Americans are shown to be nice, everyone’s like “Oh tHaT’S OffensivE” and people are saying “Japanese people will get sad seeing this” WELL WHEN EVERYONE SHOWS AMERICANS BEING RUDE NO ONE THINKS ABOUT THEM BEING SAD!
