Everyone needs more than just the city workers, a lot of workers are not getting what would be to say a means to live on with what their being paid to do....None of this will ever make sense!!!

The trucker's association Long haul drivers should boycott Washington and Oregon state and just haul to the state next to it and let them buy from that state and haul it over road tolls themself. The people of Oregon should Petition to get a statememt into law on the Ballot about tolls. Stating that tolls can only be used for actual new construction of highways or bridges or expansion and no other reason not for pay not for new equipment or not pay govt employees, Bonuses etc. They should also take note of all legislators that vote for tolls and vote them out of office. I have work for local government and a lot of times they add stuff in that really isn't related to make their figures right and bigger so it looks like they need it. In order to do wasteful spending. Back in the 1980s there was a street sweeper in Portland metro area that was state-of-the-art They thought. It was in the hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy it, they bought it on the condition they were supposed to get rid of the old one but when they got the new one they found out it wasn't state-of-the-art it was junk, it had hydraulic leaks all over it and problems 1 time I drove it and it ran over the part that comes down to suck up leaves and it actually ran over part of itself and tore it off. So they kept the old one in the back building where nobody knew they had it and they charged all the repairs to it to the new one so they could keep it because they decided it was probably better. Nobody in the city was smart enough to figure out that the old one was running around town Government needs outside audits on their figures you should never trust them. What I see from this towing is an outfit that's after money and they're going to be towing everything later on. Just because it's not in your district now doesn't mean it's not going to happen they adding setting up to block every access thru portland so they collect tolls on freeway and highway they are going to be on i-5 and 205 then they'll move down the rest of the state they've already figured out how to get i- 5 and 205 both where else are you going to go the only the old highway which can't handle it, then they will tow that. Instead of fixing things and widening the highways, the are making money off the old stuff. Over taxation and double taxation of things you've already paid for, they have figured out how to charge you again for it and they don't want to build new or expand it they just want waste money and have it free checkbook to write checks for whatever they want.

On top of a toll tax They want you to pay the fuel tax which is supposed to be for that roads and they want to tax electric cars on top of the tolls. They Are taxing you to death

The most recent data we have that is it in the three County area there are just a little over 6000 homeless. Portland also has available 255 million in the last budget for homelessness. This is almost $42, 000 per homeless, more than the average person earns that’s in the city. I don’t think throwing more money at this problem is going to make this homeless fire and get smaller.

In my opinion.... the way Portland looks and the condition of the infrastructure, I don't think they are doing a very good job. I think they should be replaced.... We don't do Portland...eeeew

Portland workers were offered more than 2022 inflation with a 5% raise and a guarantee of a CPI increase. What’s their problem?

In Oregon City they could have put a measure on the ballot to build a new bridge which would be toll bridge and give people a choice to pay a toll or not going over the old bridge with a long line. The new bridge would be toll but much faster . Most would jump the line linr of cars and go over the new bridge and pay the toll.which it would also relieve the traffic problems but they're trying to make money that's what they're trying to do they don't want to do what's right

If they were doing things right they would build new lanes on hwys and put the cameras on those new lanes anybody that uses them gets charged a tow so if you want to go faster you get on the new lane and you get charged to pay for it from a camera . The same way with the bridge, build a new bridge next to the old one in Vancouver and put a toll on the new 1 with the camera anybody gets on it will pay for it in a camea tolls charagec and leave the old bridge in place for people that don't want to pay the toll. The people I want to go fast will get on the new bridge and they'll pay the toll for it
